Tree Planting Day

Join the planting team

 9am Sunday  6th June

 Howard’s Grass, Bangalow Road

Friends of the Koala in conjunction with Rous Water are holding a koala food tree planting working bee at 9.00am on Sunday the 6th June (World Environment Day). The planting is to create a new koala food tree plantation on land provided by Rous Water. We are hoping to plant about 500 trees on the day,

Venue: Approx. 1km out of Lismore on the Bangalow Road, just past the Lions Rest Area on the left hand side of the road. (You will see the koala van and marquee on site).

Please come along and lend a hand in this worthwhile project. Bring digging implements (shovel, spade, mattocks etc) and your enthusiasm. We are planting trees from hiko tubes so planting will be very easy on the day.  It's a great chance to socialise as well. Morning tea will be provided.

If you have any enquiries phone Rick Stewart on 0405775884 or Mark Wilson on 0413339554 or email at info@friendsofthekoala.org

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE
