Stiff Necks

Our FOK care centre makes no apologies to anyone who gets a stiff neck from gaulking at our furry friends in trees around here. Stiff necks can be a real pain in the neck, but what a way to enjoy the pain!

A national tourist coach company recently landed a group of visitors at the centre and just in time to see Autumn, our latest on-site baby koala, learning all the moves associated with life among the eucalypts. Mum was not far away keeping an eye on proceedings, while Autumn’s antics kept her doting audience of visitors (and care centre staff) spellbound for what seemed to be hours. Hence the stiff necks at the end of the performance.

We believe the visitors had Byron Bay and whale watching afterwards on their itinerary, so we hope none of them had to receive professional manipulation to restore their elevated faces back to the horizontal.
