Have you spotted a koala?

If you have seen a koala recently, we would like to know about it.

Friends of the Koala not only records the whereabouts of sick and injured koalas we also like to know about healthy ones. By doing this we will build a better picture of koalas in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW.

If not sure of the exact date, please approximate.
Please give an accurate location including street number and name, suburb, distance from nearest crossroads if rural area and postcode.
If the koala is not healthy and you have just spotted it, please call the hotline immediately.
Once mature, male koalas have a prominant scent gland on their chest. It can look like a dirty mark in the centre. They also have the essential boy bits but these can sometimes be hard to see.
Please provide and indicate if you would like someone to call you and answer any questions. Details will only be used if FOK needs further information and for FOK record keeping.
