Jasper
Because he required close monitoring and regular feeds of a koala milk substitute he was placed in home care. He responded very well to the medications for his conjunctivitis and within a few weeks was able to see again and his eyes were no longer pussy and sore. Once his treatments were over he moved into an enclosure with other koala joeys of his same age where he was able to socialise - something koala joeys enjoy doing a lot. Their antics are a delight to watch as they play together and very cute when they all snuggle up to sleep as one big, furry bundle. Jasper has since been released with one of his buddies Sunny. He was spotted at his release site, looking well and healthy several times after his release.
