Frankie came into care with FOK in late September 2006. He was found on the ground, by himself, with dog saliva and small puncture wounds around his rump. He also had pneumonia.

After several vet check-ups and a slight setback when he decided he would see what grass tasted like, resulting in a grass seed becoming lodged in his throat, he is now going very well in care. His weight has increased from the 1.1kg when he first arrived to 2.5kg in mid December. He has recently moved into an outdoor run to start preparing himself for his return to the wild.
